In our consultation with Canada Post, we have helped them re-design a prototype for their epost product and conducted various usability evaluations for their other products. We were involved in the following tasks:
Conducted various usability studies such as heuristic evaluation and consumer research to discover all kinds of usability malfunctions.
Created a highly effective landing page to increase the users’ conversion rate.
Worked closely with the product management and development teams to apply user-centered design best practices in order to create an exceptional user experience for new products and services.
Managed the process for developing key design deliverables, including: personas, information architectures/site maps, wire frames, schematics, process maps, mock-ups, visual specifications, working prototypes and other artifacts to describe the intended user experience. This involved working with various internal stakeholders and external agencies.
Facilitated the design process, by coordinating stakeholder input and review sessions for key design deliverables.
Gathered and documented user requirements; translated requirements into site organization and initial designs.
Acted as a evangelist for product usability throughout the organization.
Managed the planning and execution of usability studies and other user testing methods; communicated results backs to key stakeholders.
